Montecristo – Edmundo (Pack of 3) – Sautter of Mount Street

Named after Edmundo Dantes, hero of Alexandro Dumas’ famous novel “The Count of Montecristo”, the Edmundo is the first size to be added to Montecristo’s standard range since 1971. I was completely blown away by the Edmundo, a cigar bought in Havana which I’d stored just only 6 months. It was pure chocolate, coffee and cream heaven. The taste was fantastic and I smoked it so low, the butt was a square shape by the end! The superb cigar didn’t get hot and was not for a moment unpleasant. Perhaps I was fortunate, what with such a short time in the humidor, but this was up there with the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. The generous ring gauge and the shape of the cigar were appreciated. A fantastic aroma surrounds you and there were no burning problems.
