AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduro Geniales – Box of 25

The AJ Fernandez Last Call Maduro Geniales brings together a dark Maduro wrapper, carefully selected Nicaraguan tobacco, and the distinctive compact Geniales format.

AJ Fernandez originally developed the Last Call blend as a personal cigar to enjoy at the end of the day. The cigar eventually became available to the wider cigar market, and its Maduro counterpart followed with an even darker appearance and a rich, spicy flavor profile.

The Maduro Geniales measures 4½ x 48 and comes in a box of 25 cigars. Its compact size makes it an excellent option when you want the flavor of a premium Nicaraguan cigar without committing to a long smoking session.

Last Call Maduro by AJ Fernandez

The Last Call Maduro comes from Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua, where AJ Fernandez produces the blend.

The Maduro version uses a particularly dark Nicaraguan Broadleaf Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. This all-Nicaraguan construction gives the cigar a rich foundation of earth, spice, roasted tobacco, and natural sweetness.

The result is a cigar that combines intensity with a surprisingly compact format.

For customers searching for AJ Fernandez Maduro cigars, Last Call Maduro cigars, Nicaraguan Maduro cigars, or full-flavored Robustos, the Geniales makes a strong addition to the humidor.

---

Last Call Maduro Geniales Size

The Geniales measures 4½ x 48.

Retailers classify the size as a Robusto, although the shorter length makes it considerably more compact than many traditional Robustos.

This format provides a substantial 48 ring gauge while keeping the cigar short enough for a convenient smoking session.

It works particularly well when you want a premium cigar after dinner, during a break, or when you have limited time.

---

Nicaraguan Broadleaf Maduro Wrapper

The dark outer leaf gives the Last Call Maduro its distinctive appearance.

The cigar uses a Nicaraguan Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, which contributes richness, sweetness, spice, and depth to the blend.

The wrapper also works beautifully with the darker flavor profile of the filler tobaccos.

Expect the Maduro wrapper to complement notes of:

• Cocoa
• Molasses
• Espresso
• Black pepper
• Earth
• Roasted tobacco

---

Nicaraguan Binder and Filler

The Last Call Maduro uses Nicaraguan binder and filler.

The all-Nicaraguan interior reinforces the cigar’s earthy and spicy character while giving AJ Fernandez plenty of room to build a layered profile.

The combination of Nicaraguan tobacco and the dark Maduro wrapper creates the bold character that defines the Last Call Maduro line.

Flavor Profile

The Geniales delivers a surprisingly complex flavor experience for its compact size.

Black Pepper

Pepper provides the cigar’s primary spice and adds intensity to the profile.

Molasses

Molasses introduces a darker sweetness that works particularly well with the Maduro wrapper.

Espresso

Roasted coffee notes add depth and pair naturally with the cigar’s darker tobacco character.

Cocoa

Cocoa provides a subtle sweetness and rounds out the stronger flavors.

Earth

Earthy tobacco notes form the foundation of the smoking experience.

Cedar

Cedar adds a familiar woody cigar character.

Roasted Nuts

Medium-to-Full Bodied Strength

The Last Call Maduro Geniales falls into the medium-to-full-bodied range according to current retailer specifications.

Despite its smaller size, this is not a lightweight cigar.

The blend delivers plenty of flavor and intensity.

However, the shorter format means you can enjoy that character without spending as much time on the cigar as you would with a Toro or Churchill.

That combination makes the Geniales particularly attractive to experienced smokers who want a shorter but flavorful cigar.

---

A Compact Premium Cigar

One of the biggest advantages of the Geniales is its size.

At only 4½ inches, it offers a shorter smoking experience while maintaining a substantial 48 ring gauge.

This makes it ideal for:

• After-dinner smoking
• Morning coffee
• Lunch breaks
• Evening relaxation
• Cigar lounges
• Weekend sessions
• Outdoor gatherings
• Short cigar breaks

The Last Call name itself fits this concept perfectly: it was originally created as a cigar for AJ Fernandez and his guests to enjoy toward the end of the evening.

---

Closed-Foot Construction

The Last Call Maduro Geniales also features a closed foot.

This gives the cigar a distinctive appearance and creates an interesting beginning to the smoking experience.

Current retailer information confirms the closed-foot construction.

The unusual presentation makes the Geniales particularly attractive to cigar enthusiasts who enjoy distinctive handmade cigars.

Last Call Maduro vs. Original Last Call

The original Last Call uses an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The Maduro version takes a darker approach with its Nicaraguan Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.

Choose Last Call Maduro if you prefer:

• Darker wrappers
• Richer Maduro flavors
• Espresso
• Cocoa
• Molasses
• Pepper
• Earth
• Roasted flavors

Choose Original Last Call if you prefer:

• A lighter wrapper
• More traditional Habano character
• A different balance of spice and sweetness

Both share the AJ Fernandez Nicaraguan foundation, but the Maduro offers the darker and richer expression.

Geniales vs. Larger Last Call Maduro Sizes

The Last Call Maduro line includes several formats, including Chiquitas, Corticas, Geniales, Pequenas, and Flaquitas.

The Geniales stands out with its 4½ x 48 dimensions.

Choose it when you want:

• A compact cigar
• A substantial ring gauge
• Rich Maduro tobacco
• A shorter smoking session
• A traditional Robusto classification with a shorter length
